Personal On-Site Training

We believe that by using IX Webhosting, you will find it easy to navigate your way around the Control Panel and Site Studio to build your own professional Web site.

By experimenting with the different templates, fonts and uploading images you can create and save up to 5 different looks for your business. IX Webhosting also provides an online manual (printable) for easy reference.

Once you are familiar with all the options and become more confident you can explore other features and services that are available to enhance your Web site and help build your business.

However, in response to your requests Plainly Web will be offering on-site (home or office) 'hands on" training for the London, Ontario and surrounding area. We will provide training on how to create and maintain your Web site through IX Webhosting, customized to your specific requirements and computer knowledge.

Ideally you will need:

Basic high-speed internet connection
Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater
An IX Webhosting account*
Ideas for your domain name (we can help you with this)
Images/Company Logo you wish to use saved on your hard drive
Marketing material to help with content creation
Photo editing software that you are familiar with
(easy to use free on-line photo editing available)

If you do not have all of the requirements, not a problem, let us know as we can help you get prepared. If there will be any additional time and/or costs incurred we will advise you before you decide to book training with us.

We offer training on an hourly and daily basis so we can accommodate most business and personal requirements. We find that one day of training is usually sufficient to learn how to create 3-4 basic pages, with images and content ready to publish. Once you have your basic Web site built, you will be able to add new pages, edit content and will feel more confident about adding other features as your business grows.

On-Site Training Fees

For training provided by the hour on the same day our Hourly Rates are:

$39.00/hour (for the first 2 hours)
$36.00/hour (for the following 2 hours)
$33.00/hour (for the remaining time)

For training that is pre-booked for an entire day (6 hours) our Flat Rate is:

$199.00
